Meet the Team
Eric Boshart
Manager & Licensed Real Estate Appraiser
Eric Boshart funded his first private money loan in 2019, then transitioned to purchasing rentals in 2020 with his brother, Alex. Together they flipped over 50 doors. Over the course of 2022, Alex and Eric turned their focus back to private money lending. Prior to investing in real estate, Eric was the vice president at Three Point Capital, a private credit firm focused on the media and entertainment space. Eric will leverage his private credit expertise to help manage the day-to-day origination, underwriting, and funding of Parallel's loans. Eric also holds his appraisal license in the State of Texas.
When he’s not working, Eric loves spending time in the movie theater or listening to jazz.
Alex Boshart
Manager & Licensed Real Estate Agent
Alex Boshart began investing in real estate with his wife in 2018 in Fort Worth, Texas. Together with Eric, Alex has allocated and managed over $10mm in renovations in the residential and commercial space. Alex will utilize his construction management skills to oversee construction budgets, project timelines, and allocation of draws. Alex's understanding of the construction phase will also assist in creating long term relationships with Parallel's current and future borrowers. Alex also holds his real estate license in the state of Texas.
When he’s not working, Alex loves spending time with his three kids, Augustine, Gianna, and Leo.
Steven Hamner Manager
Steven Hamner started investing in real estate in 2018 by accident when he and his wife bought and flipped their first house. Steven and his wife then started their own real estate business where they flipped properties in Florida as well as in Texas, where they have invested in over 14 properties from flips to long term and short term rentals. Steven's previous experience in real estate investing led him to private money lending. During this past year, Steven has lent outright over $1mm dollars in loans through Parallel.
